OUR HISTORY:
The first of thereof the houses was originalted by the court pâté maker Patrick Urban of Czensaye in 1617. In 1622 Mr. Pettman bought the house, and built on to it, giving it he name "At Seven Candlesticks."

Fallowing this time the house was badly damaged in the Saxon Swedish political times. In 1667, with the agreement that the house was bought by Jan Jindrich Preuner, a court tailor, and then in 1690 it was taken by Vaclav Hranicky, a well known European Painter and his wife, Constans.Then Constans handed the house down to her son , Isaak, a well known Italian painter with a Jewish background (Godini). In 1802, the house gets, yet, another owner named Josef Dvoran who is lower in social class, and from here on the owners change frequently.

In 1815 the builder Zaccharias Feigert added new floors, and is what it presents now, after surviving a big fire.The house was founded in 1602 by Jacob Teyfl, who went onto sell it to one of the Earl Kinsky, a secret councilman. It was here that he grew his trading company, yet the owners changed frequently after this. Finally in 1804, the Aloise Palliard family bought the house with wife Magdalena, and the building has been nicely maintained ever since.
